Sous Chef

The owners of Pizzeria Lola and Hello Pizza are looking for a talented full-time Sous Chef to support the BOH team of their critically acclaimed new NE Minneapolis restaurant, Young Joni.  The menu focuses on artisan pizzas as well as shareable plates with global influences that are all cooked by custom made wood-fired ovens and a wood-burning grill.  

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years of culinary leadership experience 
  • Experience and interest in cooking with open fire
  • Passion for pizza
  • Strong foundation in fundamental and classic culinary techniques
  • Excellent palate and keen attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of costing, ordering, and inventory tools
  • A leader that is collaborative, patient, flexible, and open to new ideas
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, and inspiring team members
  • Ability to maintain consistency and superior quality in a high volume environment
